What grades do I need to get into UEA?
At UEA we require students to achieve a Grade C or Grade 4 in GCSE English, and GCSE Mathematics for matriculation purposes. However, some of our courses require a higher grade at GCSE. If a student is required to achieve a Grade B at GCSE we will be asking for a Grade 5.

An applicant day is not an assessment – it’s an opportunity for you to find out more about us, including the course you’re interested in, the tutors who will teach you, our world-class facilities and your new classmates. Attendance at applicant days is not compulsory, but we’d highly recommend you come and visit.

Offer-holder days are much less busy than open days, so you have more chance to speak individually to academic staff or current students. You’ll meet your prospective coursemates and see how you fit into your peer group.

An open day is usually an informal event so technically you can wear whatever you like. Wear clothing you’re comfortable in and above all, make sure you’re wearing shoes you can walk in, so your feet don’t suffer when you’re taking a campus tour.
